Celebrity nightlife entrepreneur and social figure Cubana Chief Priest has publicly declared support for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections, stating his commitment to mobilising support from South Eastern voters.
In a video shared on Instagram, Cubana showcased newly branded campaign buses reportedly acquired for Tinubu’s political movement. He also mentioned that he, Obi Cubana, and other allies have been involved in late-night planning sessions focused on the upcoming election.
Reports suggest his endorsement reflects growing efforts to attract influential voices from the South East region into Tinubu’s political camp ahead of 2027.
According to him, their decision is final and they are fully committed to the political direction they have chosen. He said:
“Late night meetings, We are too focused to be distracted with ChoChoCho from never do wells. Our minds are made up. The goal is simple: Deliver @officialasiwajubat make baba too fit.
Deliver for us, Southeasterners. We wont be on the bench again for another four years. To comot Asiwaju is a total impossibility, Who wan do am? How the wan take do am?”
His declaration surfaced during an online disagreement with socialite Isaac Fayose, who criticised some wealthy Igbo figures for allegedly prioritising personal interests over political advocacy tied to regional issues.
As the 2027 elections draw closer, Cubana Chief Priest’s endorsement highlights the increasing role of celebrity and business influence in shaping political conversations and regional voter engagement.
