Prominent businessman Cubana Chief Priest has addressed his recent feud with Burna Boy, suggesting that the singer is envious of his close relationship with Davido.

Speaking during an interview on Rubbin’ Minds with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Cubana Chief Priest shared his side of the story. He revealed that Burna Boy was once his friend, but as Burna’s fame grew, their connection dwindled. The businessman claimed Burna Boy initiated the conflict, prompting him to respond.
Cubana Chief Priest believes the Grammy-winning artist harbors jealousy over his friendship with Davido. He emphasized that he stands firmly by Davido, often taking hits and criticism on his behalf. In contrast, he suggested that Burna Boy lacks a similarly supportive figure in his corner, which might fuel his resentment.
Highlighting his bond with Davido, Cubana Chief Priest noted that the DMW boss consistently shows up for him, particularly during significant moments, strengthening their friendship.
Regarding rumors of being involved in fraudulent activities in the United States, Cubana Chief Priest denied the allegations, explaining that a minor visa issue has hindered his travels to the country.
When asked about reconciling with Burna Boy, he stated that both of them are busy with numerous commitments, but he is open to making amends if Burna feels the need to settle their differences.
