The death of Timothy Adegoke, a master’s student at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Ile-Ife, has been blamed on Dr. Rahmon Adedoyin, the Hilton Hotel’s owner, and six other employees.
Adedoyin and three of his employees were found guilty of murder and conspiracy by the court in a decision rendered on Tuesday, May 30. Adedoyin has been given a hanging death sentence.
According to The Nation, the ruling, which was handed down by Justice Oyebola Ojo, the chief justice of Osun State, ruled that circumstantial evidence proved Adedoyin and his crew killed Adegoke and attempted to cover up the crime.
