Costa Rica head coach Luis Suarez has named a 26-man squad for his team’s upcoming international friendly against Nigeria as well as the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in 2022.
The North Americans will play Nigeria in a farewell friendly before departing for the World Cup in San Jose on Thursday.
Nigeria will field a B team for the friendly because the date falls outside of FIFA’s calendar.
Keylor Navas, the experienced goalkeeper for Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain, is the most notable player on the list.
Suarez also named a five-man squad that included Oscar Duarte, Celso Borges, Bryan Ruiz, Yeltsin Tejada, and Joel Campbell.
The five players, along with Navas, were part of the team that advanced to the World Cup quarterfinals in Russia in 2014.
Costa Rica will compete in Group E against Spain, Japan, and Germany.
