Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has turned himself in to the police after being declared wanted.
The singer, who was declared wanted on Monday, voluntarily appeared today at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Panti, Yaba.
He is currently being transferred to Ogun State, where he will be handed over to the authorities.
It is worth recalling that on Tuesday, Portable claimed to be a “madman” undergoing treatment at the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Aro, Abeokuta. He made this statement while appealing to Nigerians and the Ogun State Government following the police’s announcement of him as a wanted person.
The allegations against him stem from an incident where he reportedly assaulted three officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, Ota Zonal Office.
