Popular Nollywood actor and comedian, Ijoba Lande, has shed light on his experience working with Funke Akindele, opening up about his earnings and offering advice to aspiring actors.
In a trending audio clip, Ijoba Lande disclosed that he participated in a movie production at Amen Estate, where they spent about a month on set. At the time, he mentioned that he was driving a Lexus 350.
“There was a time Funke Akindele called me for a movie production at Amen Estate, and we spent one month there,” he recalled.
Ijoba Lande revealed he was paid ₦90,000 for the entire duration and used the opportunity to advise up-and-coming actors to never idolize any producer or top actor, stating that his own experience taught him a valuable lesson.
“I’ll advise upcoming actors not to see any producer or actor as a god. I’ve learned from my own journey,” he added.
He also emphasized that moving forward, he always states his fee upfront before accepting any movie roles, a lesson he now lives by after what he described as a humbling experience.
