Nancy Nnadi, popularly known as Coach Nancy and the Managing Director of EeZee Conceptz Limited, has confirmed that reconciliation talks are currently underway to resolve the royalty dispute involving gospel singer Mercy Chinwo.
This update comes as Nancy officially retracted a previous social media post in which she made allegations against Chinwo during the heat of their legal fallout.
As previously reported by NAIJALOG, Mercy Chinwo filed a lawsuit against her former label boss, Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu (EeZee Tee), in January 2025, accusing him of diverting $345,000 in music royalties. The legal case followed her 2022 departure from EeZee Conceptz, reportedly due to financial disagreements.
In the midst of the legal proceedings, Coach Nancy had accused Chinwo of financial misconduct. Chinwo responded with a defamation suit, demanding a public apology and the removal of the statements made about her online.
Now, Nancy appears to be stepping back. In a post shared on her Instagram page over the weekend, she took back her previous allegations and acknowledged that reconciliation efforts are being led by respected religious figures.
She wrote:
“On the advice of my lawyer, and for the sake of peace and love of God, I retract my earlier post about Minister Mercy Chinwo. As well pray that Almighty God perfects ongoing settlement process being facilitated by the Fathers of Faith between her and EeZee Conceptz.”
