The owner of Club 183, along with his brother, has been accused of murdering a bartender over theft of a DJ mixer.
Don-V, who owns a club in Lagos State’s Okota district, allegedly accused his bartender, Destiny, of stealing a piece of equipment, prompting him to call in military personnel.
Destiny was seen tied and flogged by military officers while pleading for his life in a video that went viral on social media.
An eyewitness claimed that at some point, the accused Destiny collapsed and fell into a coma before taking his last breath.
Don-V, the owner of Club 183 and his brother, are said to be bragging about the death of their bartender while emphasizing that he is above the law due to his wealth and connections.
However, the state’s Police Department has yet to confirm the incident or launch an investigation into the young bartender’s death.
