Chinedu Ikedieze “Aki” Alerts Fans About Fraudsters Impersonating Him to Carry Out Scams

Renowned Nigerian actor Chinedu Ikedieze, famously known as Aki, has issued a warning to his fans and followers about scammers impersonating him online.

Taking to his official Instagram account on Monday, Chinedu shared screenshots revealing a chat and contact of an individual pretending to be him. In the exposed conversation, the scammer attempted to swindle money by falsely claiming they were unable to make transfers themselves.

Chinedu urged his followers to stay cautious and always verify any calls or messages they receive, especially if it appears to come from him. He wrote:

In a related post, popular Nigerian singer Flavour also raised an alert about fraudsters impersonating him on social media to scam his fans. The singer took to the microblogging platform X (formerly known as Twitter) to caution his followers against falling for such schemes. Flavour emphasized that he would never ask his fans for money and advised them to ignore any such conversations if they occur.
