Renowned Nigerian actor Chinedu Ikedieze, famously known as Aki, has issued a warning to his fans and followers about scammers impersonating him online.
Taking to his official Instagram account on Monday, Chinedu shared screenshots revealing a chat and contact of an individual pretending to be him. In the exposed conversation, the scammer attempted to swindle money by falsely claiming they were unable to make transfers themselves.
Chinedu urged his followers to stay cautious and always verify any calls or messages they receive, especially if it appears to come from him. He wrote:

βPlease guys, everyone should be careful,β βThese scammers are on a rampage. Theyβve devised another level of OBT.βThey now use pictures of public figures as their display picture and start calling or texting people within your circle.
