A 14-year-old girl in kano has confessed to killing the man she was forced to marry.
According to officers of the Nigerian Police, Wasilu Umar admitted killing her husband, who was more than twice her age, by concealing rat poison in his food.
Also, three other people died and 10 others who ate the food are presently receiving treatment in the hospital.
The officer added that the marriage which took place last week witnessed the girl’s father giving her forcefully out to a 35-year-old man.
Meanwhile, the teenager is likely to be tried in a juvenile court.
