Nigeria’s fairy tale run at the ongoing CHAN competition in South Africa ended this evening as the Black Stars defeated the Super Eagle 4-1 after a penalty shoot.
The match ended goalless, even though the Nigerians had the numerical advantage.
Ghanaian player, Adusei was sent off in 63rd minutes for a second bookable offence. He had earlier collected a yellow card in the 15th minute.
With the scoreline, the Ghanaians will now face Libya who also defeated Zimbabwe 5-4 after a penalty shoot.
