Ghana and Libya played a 1-1 draw in their second group game at the ongoing CHAN in South Africa .
The Black Stars got an early goal six minutes into the game through a brilliant header from Asante Kotoko’s Yahaya Mohammed.
The first half came to an end with only one goal separating the teams despite several attempts on goal.
The second half saw the Libyans step their game up putting the Ghanaian goalkeeper Stephen Adams to test on several occasions, but the goalie put up wonderful saves to preserve his team’s lead.
The efforts of the North Africans paid off in 73rd minute when Fasail Saleh scored from the penalty spot after a controversial penalty call by the referee.
The game came to an end with little action from either side.
This draw leaves Libya top of the group with 4 points and a superior goal difference above second placed Ghana with 4 points also,the other group opponents have claimed no points so far.
