Multi platinum selling artiste Celine Dion has just announced plans to put her career on hold till further notice.
She made the announcement today following the ill health of her 72 year-old husband Rene Angelil who has been diagnosed of cancer.
Celine Dion cancelled her tour to Asia, Las Vegas and other showbiz engagement till further notice. ‘I want to devote every ounce of my strength and energy to my husband’s healing, and to do so, it’s important for me to dedicate this time to him and to our children.
‘I also want to apologise to all my fans everywhere, for inconveniencing them, and I thank them so much for their love and support’.
In December, Angelil, had surgery to remove a cancerous tumor from his throat and he officially retired as Celion Dion’s manager in June, after 30 years.
