Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper, Carl Ikeme, is confident of victory when the Super Eagles tackle the Chipolopolo of Zambia in Sunday’s World Cup qualifier in Ndola.
The 30 year old shot l-stopper who is expected to make his ninth appearance for the senior national team barring any last minute hitch, is targeting another clean sheet in the encounter.
Ikeme who succeeded Vincent Enyeama in goal last year has kept five clean sheets for the Super Eagles in eight games.
He told journalists before the team’s departure on Saturday at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport Abuja: “We are set for the match. I can vouch on behalf of the team that we are set to defeat Zambia.
“On my part, I am also in a frame of mind that I will not let in even one goal.”
