American rapper Cardi B has filed for divorce from her husband, Offset, after seven years of marriage.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper is seeking primary custody of their five-year-old daughter Kulture and two-year-old son Wave.
This isn’t the first time Cardi has sought a divorce from Offset since their 2017 wedding.
She previously filed for divorce in September 2020, clarifying to fans that the decision wasn’t “because of cheating,” despite persistent infidelity rumors involving the Migos rapper since early in their relationship.
The couple later reconciled, and the divorce filing was withdrawn.
Despite their attempts to salvage their marriage, the distance between them continued to grow, leading to this recent separation.
