Cardi B has taken aim at President Trump, blaming him for ruining her expensive designer shoes during the Super Bowl and jokingly suggesting that her deported uncle should be allowed back in exchange for the inconvenience.
In a recent Instagram Live video, the New York-born rapper expressed her frustration, saying, “I’m f-ing mad today.” She recounted her experience at Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, where Trump made history as the first sitting president to attend the event.
According to Cardi B, Trump’s presence led to heightened security measures that caused difficulties for attendees. She claimed that the Secret Service enforced strict restrictions, preventing people from using carts to move around the stadium, forcing her to walk instead.
“The Secret Service was not playing in that motherf-ing stadium,” she told her 164 million followers. “They stopped all the little carts and shit because Trump was there.”
Displaying a damaged stiletto with a scuffed red sole, the 32-year-old rapper lamented, “Messed up my shoe. Shoe cost me three bands. All [because] of Trump.”
She further expressed her annoyance, stating, “Now I like him lesser. You ain’t had to go to no damn Super Bowl.”
In a lighthearted remark, Cardi B added, “Now he going to have to… bring my uncle to come back because my uncle got deported.” However, she did not provide further details about her relative.
The Trump administration has been known for its strict immigration policies, with mass deportations being a key campaign promise.
Over the years, Cardi B has openly discussed political issues, often criticizing President Biden despite attending a campaign rally last year in support of Vice President Kamala Harris’s White House bid.
