A car hire operator has called out Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, alleging that she owes him ₦570,000 after using his vehicle and driver for over a week without completing payment.
According to the operator, about 12 days ago, someone contacted him to rent his Toyota Prado for a client pickup in Maitama.
He revealed that his driver later informed him that the client was Regina Daniels. The booking, which was initially arranged through a third party, was set at ₦150,000 per day for two days — a total of ₦300,000.
“When the two days finished, I told the PA that the payment had ended. They told me to continue and Regina spoke to me herself, saying she would be paying,” he claimed.
He explained that they had an understanding that fuel expenses would be deducted daily from the total fee.
“I told her I don’t have fuel money, so every day she pays ₦30k for fuel from the ₦150k and my balance becomes ₦120k. That’s how we worked for 9–10 days, even at night,” he added.
He shares how the issue started
The operator said the misunderstanding began when Regina Daniels and her team were at the private wing of the airport. His driver alerted him that they were leaving, prompting him to rush there immediately.
However, he claimed that the actress entered the airport and boarded her private flight without clearing the remaining balance.
Man recounts meeting actress’ aide
He said he confronted her female aide, who had been handling communication, but she allegedly insisted that the payment had been made — yet couldn’t provide any evidence.
The man further stated that he took the aide to a police station, but she managed to escape after telling officers she needed to use the restroom.
He is now appealing publicly for Regina Daniels to settle the alleged ₦570,000 debt.
As of the time of this report, Regina Daniels has yet to issue any response to the allegation.
