Bose Ogulu has reacted after her son, Burna Boy, used her name while making strong statements during a livestream.
The singer made the remarks while denying claims that he and members of his crew assaulted DJ Tunez at a Lagos nightclub.
Earlier, Wizkid had accused Burna Boy and his team of attacking the DJ over his refusal to play Burna’s songs during the event.
Responding during a livestream with Shallipopi, Burna Boy insisted that he acted alone and not with a group.
“Na only me touch DJ Tunez, no be 10 people. Na two slaps I give am. I swear with my mama. If I dey lie, make Ogun carry my mama go anywhere wey Wizkid mama dey.”
However, a clearer video of the incident later surfaced online, showing Burna Boy and members of his crew physically attacking DJ Tunez, which contradicted his earlier statement.
Following the controversy, Bose Ogulu reacted in a spiritual manner. In a viral clip, she was seen with members of her son’s team, leading prayers against negative words and harmful declarations.
“Oloun ma je a remi kemi. Oloun ma je a remi kemi”, she prayed in Yoruba.
