Burna Boy, the self-described “African Giant,” draws conflicting emotions when he asks his London audience for donations while performing.
Burna Boy billed his crowd in a video that has been making the rounds on social media, making it clear that their request for an additional performance was unpaid for.
The request first surprised the audience, but they eventually complied after the singer insisted that refusing would mean they owed him.
However, some of the fans offered money, and Burna Boy accepted a single pound note from one of them before beginning the act.
‘It’s Plenty,’ a song from his Love Damini album that was published in the year 2022, delighted his followers.
“I need money; let me show you why I need money. Let me explain why. You guy’s did not pay for what I am about to do. Right now, you are owing me. Once I start just consider yourself a debtor,”
he stated.
