Damini Ogulu, better known in the music industry as Burna Boy, has responded to the death of football legend Pele.
Pele, the legendary Brazilian footballer, was reportedly hospitalized at the Albert Einstein Israelita Hospital in Sao Paulo before Christmas and died at the age of 82.
Until his departure, the three-time World Cup winner was said to have been suffering from cardiac and other medical issues.
“Brazilian soccer legend Pelé, winner of a record three World Cups and standard-bearer for ‘the beautiful game,’ has died at the age of 82,” according to the statement.
Reacting to the death of Pele, Burna Boy took to his social media page to write,
“RIP Pele. A man with a strong legacy that will be remembered FOREVER. Legends Never Die they are always Remembered in the hearts of the People.”
