Afrobeats star Burna Boy has addressed the ongoing controversy surrounding his alleged promise of a Lamborghini to his former associate, Sophia Egbueje.
The drama unfolded after a leaked voice note surfaced online, in which Sophia reportedly claimed that Burna Boy had assured her a Lamborghini but failed to fulfill his promise following their intimate encounter.
Feeling deceived, she allegedly blocked the singer and never brought up the matter again—until the leaked conversation reignited the discussion.
In response to the viral claims, Burna Boy took to his Instagram story to mock Sophia while announcing his arrival in Kenya.
In a lighthearted manner, he sang, “I’ve arrived in Kenya, mehn. No do, I told you. If you don’t get me, forget about it. I didn’t buy a Lambo, is that why you’re shouting?”
His reaction has since sparked mixed opinions among fans, with some appreciating his humor while others criticized him for trivializing the situation.
