Burna Boy, the Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer, did not secure victory in any of the four Grammy Awards categories he was nominated for. Despite receiving nominations for Best Global Music Album (“I Told Them…”), the inaugural Best African Music Performance (“City Boys”), Best Global Music Performance (“Alone”), and Best Melodic Rap Performance (“Sittin’ On Top Of The World”), Burna Boy left the 66th Grammy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles without a win.
