Burna boy is not about stopping his controversial performances. Just one year after he made headlines for stepping on stage in Fela-inspired underwear during  ‘Felabration 2013’, the hit-maker has again shocked everyone with a daring entry during a performance in Lagos.

On Saturday, September 6, 2014 the Port Harcourt-bred singer was ‘brought in dead’ to the stage for a scripted performance at an event hosted by Gulder.

The performance was coordinated by Micheal Igbelabo of DNMT (Dance Na The Main Thing) who used 18 choreographers for the rare and bold set.

The stage performance of his hit single, ‘Yawa dey’, began with Burna Boy on the bare ground band eing revived from a supposed coma, literally making guests go wild in anticipation, as they had absolutely no idea what was coming next or even if it was really the singer on the floor.

Some seconds later and Burna sprang back to life, delivering his most energetic and exhilarating performance to date. Absolutely well choreographed, his back up dancers displayed amusing ‘Shoki’ moves to the amazement of everyone present.

The Dancers delighted the audience with a perfect demonstration of the chaos surrounding the missing cube, they also had placards with the inscription ‘where is the cube’ written on it.

No better song described the dangers ahead of the ultimate men and the efforts to retrieve the missing cube than ‘Yawa Dey’.
