Amidst allegations of unpaid debts, Davido took to Twitter to express his gratitude to his loyal fans. He thanked them for their support throughout this tough time. The tweet was a way to show how much he values their support.
Davido has been the target of several accusations in recent days, mostly related to his debt to various parties. The most well-known of these allegations was from Abu Salam, who revealed that Davido owed him a hefty sum of 218 million Naira due to an unfulfilled arrangement. Abu Salam’s claim contained the depressing information that Davido had refused to pay him.
This revelation sparked a series of further accusations. Recently, CEO Blessing claimed that Davido owed IVD, a car dealer, 4.5 million naira for a car that was gifted to one of his assistants, Israel. The inability to pay off this debt had caused an increasing amount of frustration.
SamKlef, another musician, also joined the growing chorus of people accusing Davido of owing money to certain people. Samklef disclosed that a few people had messaged him via direct message to complain that the singer owed them money.
Despite the accusations, Davido remains grateful to his fans, as he tweeted, “BULLETPROOF”, “Fans who care”.
