Onyebuchi Ojieh, a Nigerian comedian better known by his stage name Buchi, accuses his ex-wife’s family of kidnapping his children and keeping him from visiting them.
After getting married in 2017 and having two children, Buchi and his wife Rukky divorced in 2022 due to charges of domestic abuse.
The comedian and actor recently alleged that his wife’s family was involved in the kidnapping of his children, Isede and Salami.He voiced his annoyance at being unable to speak with them and emphasized that they were unable to hinder the legal system.
In light of the efforts they made to have the children, Buchi wondered how his in-laws would react if someone were to take them away.
Buchi encouraged them to give him access to his kids in a string of Instagram posts that looked to be a warning to them.
“You have your children; give me access to mine.
When family members reciprocate good deeds with evil, I never forbade you from speaking to your father.
You made it possible for my children, Isede and Salamis, to be taken. I can’t talk to them, but you can. The law cannot be stopped.
Salami, Mr. and Mrs. After everything you went through, if Jos and Daniella were taken. I go survive, una. I want to see my children,” he wrote.
