Video has emerged showing a teenage girl being dragged around the hair before she has her head slammed into the ground, at one point the she was seen ‘shaking like a leaf.’
The shocking footage filmed in Cowdenbeath, Fife, yesterday, also shows the girl being kicked in the face by the alleged bully, a crowd of children looks on in the corner as she is dragged.
Police are now investigating the clip after it was uploaded to Facebook.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: ‘Thank you to those concerned members of the public who have contacted us regarding a video of an assault in Cowdenbeath, which is currently on social media.
‘We are actively investigating the matter.’
A 15-year-old girl was charged with assault yesterday evening.
