Emma Heming, wife of Hollywood icon Bruce Willis, has shared new details about his ongoing battle with dementia.
Bruce, who was first diagnosed with aphasia in April 2022 before being confirmed with dementia in 2023, now resides in a one-story house under full-time care, separate from Emma and their two daughters, Mabel and Evelyn.
In an interview with Diane Sawyer, Emma explained, “First and foremost, Bruce will want that for our daughters. He would want them to be in a home that caters to their needs.”
She revealed that she spends mornings and evenings with him, bringing the girls along for breakfast and dinner visits.
Speaking on how Bruce responds to them, Emma said, “I feel he does recognize me. When we’re with him, he lights up.”
