Peter Oni, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, has won the presidential election in Lagos state.
After counting votes from all 20 LGAs in the state, he defeated Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate.
Tinubu is a former governor of Lagos, which has historically been his stronghold.
Obi received 582,354 votes, while Tinubu received 572,606 votes.
Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Rabiu Kwawanso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) received 75,750 and 8442 votes, respectively, as the other two front-runners in the election.
