Residents of Oyo state took to the streets in protest on February 19, expressing their pain over the current state of the nation under President Tinubu. The youths, who were protesting peacefully, held placards with various inscriptions, reminding the government of its renewed hope agenda as the economic hardship bites harder. The protest held in strategic locations in the state, and armed police officers were present to ensure the exercise was smooth and peaceful.
