A fire broke out early this morning at the West African Examination Council (WAEC) Yaba National Office in Lagos.
According to a report heard on the Lagos radio station Bond FM, firefighters from the University of Lagos (UNILAG) and Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) have arrived at the scene to put out the fire as of the time of filing this report.
According to an eyewitness, a member of the Council who was believed to be trapped between some floors was seen attempting to jump through the window of the 12-story magnificent building to avoid being suffocated.
No one from the Council could be reached for more information.
