Multi-billionaire Hajiya Bola Shagaya, close acquaintance of first lady, Dame Patience Jonathan has been listed as one of the beneficiaries of oil blocks licences recently awarded by the Federal government.
Investigations reveal that Hajiya Shagaya name is listed as a director in Voyage Oil and Gas Limited one of the company that was awarded licence.
The other director who owns equal amount of shares as the woman who is said to be the 10th richest woman in Africa is Oba Tonye.
Voyage Oil and Gas Limited incorporated October 14, 2011 and operating under licence number RC 986771, has a nominal share capital of two million shares, split evenly among the duo.
Details obtained from papers filed with the Corporate Affairs Commission indicates that the company is to carry out business as dealers and independent marketers of oil, petroleum products and gas; to engage in petroleum product sales, marketing, storage, haulage and transfer of oil, petroleum, kerosene and cooking gas.
