Controversial cross-dresser Bobrisky has shared a personal life lesson about relationships, happiness, and social media, calling it one of the toughest lessons he has learned over the years.
In a post on Instagram, he spoke about the danger of putting private joy in the public eye. He wrote:
“One thing I learnt the hard way as an ex-Nigerian is never to bring what makes me happy on social media.”
Bobrisky said that showing off money, love, or success online often invites bitterness, criticism, and unwanted opinions especially in Nigeria, where many people are dealing with their own frustrations.
He added that not everything should be for public consumption, as too much exposure can destroy relationships and peace of mind.
“Let the relationship be between you and him only. Nigerians will make sure it scatters and laugh at you if they see your happiness,” he warned.
According to him, protecting a relationship from outsiders is one of the best ways to keep it healthy.
Bobrisky’s description of himself as an “ex-Nigerian” suggests he has mentally detached from certain attitudes and social behavior he believes lead to envy and negativity.
