A viral video captures the intense moment Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, known as Bobrisky, was forcibly escorted off a flight at Lagos airport on Thursday night.
This occurred soon after Bobrisky’s release from detention following his arrest at the Seme border, where he allegedly attempted to leave the country amid a money laundering and bribery investigation.
Isaac Fayose, younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, had shared photos of himself with Bobrisky at the airport, seemingly unaware of the upcoming disruption.
In the video, officers from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) are seen intervening, stopping Bobrisky’s travel plans. Later, in an Instagram post, Bobrisky appealed for support from Nigerians, claiming he sustained injuries during the incident.
The video, which has circulated widely, shows security officers escorting him off the plane, sparking even more public attention around the case.
