Popular lifestyle influencer Bobrisky has stirred up fresh controversy, attributing a recent award he received at Eniola Ajao’s movie premiere as the source of his current troubles.
Named the Best Dressed Female at the event and awarded ₦1 million, Bobrisky claims the recognition marked the start of a series of problems in his life.
Following the award, he was detained by the EFCC over alleged misuse of the naira note, which led to further allegations. Leaked audio also accused him of bribing officials to avoid money laundering charges and secure a luxury apartment instead of a prison sentence—allegations he has firmly denied.
In a recent Instagram post, Bobrisky, now outside Nigeria, reflected on his ordeal, saying everything began after he accepted the Best Dressed Female award.
“My problems started when I took the Best Dressed Female award with the ₦1 million prize. If I ever see another award for best dressed female, I’ll leave that location immediately. Everyone knows I’m a classy baddie—who wants to compete with me? Never! But when trouble is too much, it’s best to walk away,” he wrote.
Bobrisky’s comments have reignited discussions around the credibility of these accusations and the downsides of fame. Eniola Ajao has yet to respond to his claims.
