Controversial crossdresser Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, has called on singer Burna Boy to facilitate the release of fellow entertainer Speed Darlington.
Speed Darlington was reportedly arrested after alleging that Burna Boy had an inappropriate relationship with American music executive Diddy to secure a Grammy award.
Despite a court order for his release, the rapper remains in detention, sparking mixed reactions both online and offline.
Adding his voice to the calls for Darlington’s freedom, Bobrisky appealed to Burna Boy to intervene, emphasizing that 45 days in detention was sufficient punishment.
On his Instagram Story, Bobrisky wrote:
“I just wanna mind my business this year and stay away from anything that connects with Nigerian celebrities. But my soft heart won’t stop me from thinking of many things.
“Pls Burna Boy, forgive Speed [Darlington]. Pls, prison is not a nice place. I don’t think he has money for a VIP section cos it’s expensive.”
