Renowned entrepreneur and socialite Linus Williams, popularly known as BLord, has announced a massive charitable initiative for his hometown of Ebenebe in Anambra State. Taking to Instagram, the businessman revealed his plan to distribute 3,000 bags of rice to ensure every member of his community can celebrate the upcoming festive season.

A Change in Tradition

Sharing a video of a trailer being unloaded, BLord explained that he is deviating from his usual tradition of sharing cash gifts. This year, his primary focus is food security for his people. He declared a personal vow to ensure that no one in his village goes without rice this Christmas.

Consistent Philanthropy

This gesture is part of a pattern of generosity from the businessman. In previous years, BLord has made headlines for covering JAMB registration fees for students in his community and distributing various holiday gifts.

Speaking on his motivation, BLord stated:

“It’s that time of the year when we show love. The theme of this year’s Christmas is Love. Last Christmas we were sharing money, this year we are sharing 3,000 bags of rice. The whole of Ebenebe are going to eat rice because the number of people in my village isn’t up to 3000…”
