Renowned relationship therapist Blessing CEO has publicly expressed her immense relief and joy following the acquittal of her partner, Ikechukwu Darry Ogbonna, popularly known as IVD. The businessman had been facing legal proceedings concerning the death of his late wife, Bimbo, but was officially discharged by the court on December 15, 2025.

The Verdict and Reaction

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Blessing described the ruling as the conclusion of four difficult years marred by tears and misleading narratives. She praised the Nigerian judiciary for the outcome, declaring that justice had prevailed.

She wrote:

“Discharged and acquitted… 15th December 2025… It ended in praise. Four years of tears and false narratives. Nigeria’s justice system still works. I am proud of my country. Ikechukwu Darry Ogobnna (IVD), you can now have your life back. Congratulations.”

Advice to Others

Beyond celebrating the victory, the therapist used the opportunity to issue a stern warning about toxic relationships, urging individuals to walk away from unhealthy marriages rather than enduring suffering.

Context and Public Response

The court’s decision has generated mixed reactions online; while supporters have joined in the celebration, others have revisited the controversies surrounding the case.

Notably, IVD faced legal hurdles earlier this year, including an arrest at the airport in August while attempting to travel to Qatar, allegedly due to restrictions linked to the then-ongoing trial. With the case now closed, Blessing CEO maintains that the “nightmare” is finally over.
