Veteran Nollywood actress Lola Idije has responded to the widespread rumors that Biodun Okeowo, popularly known as Omoborty, took her daughter’s boyfriend.
The rumors suggested that Omoborty’s husband had been romantically involved with Lola Idije’s daughter before Omoborty allegedly “snatched” him.
Omoborty, however, denied these claims during an Instagram live session, stating that her husband has never had any connection with Lola Idije’s daughter.
Despite Omoborty’s denial, the rumors continued to circulate.
Addressing the issue, Lola Idije clarified that neither she nor her daughters had any prior relationship with the man in question.
In an Instagram post, Idije wrote; “Good evening Everyone, I want to address the story going around since yesterday and to clear the air.
“The first time I ever spoke to Omoborty’s husband was when she introduced him to me on a phone call, I did not know him before personally, None of my daughters know him.
“Omoborty didn’t snatch my daughter’s boyfriend, l attended their wedding, there is no way she would do such and I would attend the wedding. I hope this clarifies everything.”
