Ben Carson will become the fourth candidate to formally seek the Republican nomination in the 2016 presidential race for the White House
He revealed he will be announcing his candidacy on Monday, Sunday night.
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul are other Republican candidates who have already expressed their interest.
Ben Carson, 63-year-old, is an author, and retired neurosurgeon.
He is the first surgeon to successfully separate conjoined twins joined at the head.
