Nigerian culinary superstar Hilda Baci has announced a major milestone, confirming that she is now officially a three-time Guinness World Record holder a status she discovered unexpectedly.
The Email Surprise
The chef revealed that she only found out about her third title months after the event while casually scrolling through her emails. While her initial goal was to break the record for the “largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice,” the correspondence from the record body contained an additional accolade she hadn’t anticipated.
Double Victory
Guinness World Records confirmed that the single cookout event was a double win. The meal was also certified as the “Largest serving of rice overall.” Combined with her previous cooking marathon title, this achievement cements her status as a triple record holder.
Credit to Her Partner
Describing the revelation as a “beautiful start to 2026,” Hilda noted that the feat was a product of a shared vision. She gave special credit to her partner, Oreoluwa Atinmo, acknowledging him as the backbone of the project.
