Former Big Brother Naija Season 9 housemate, Nelly Mbonu, has voiced her disapproval of fellow contestants Ozee and Ocee Mbadiwe’s presence on the show, stating they added little value to the competition.
Nelly believes the Mbadiwe Twins didn’t contribute anything remarkable during their time in the house and suggests their well-known surname earned them unmerited respect from other housemates.
According to her, she was unimpressed by their background and name, implying that it held no special meaning for her.
In an interview with Hip TV, Nelly said,
“Mbadiwe Twins’ surname made most housemates to be interested in them. They were well respected in the house because of the name. But it wasn’t a thing for me. I don’t care.”
She continued,
“Mbadiwe Twins should have been evicted in the first week. I feel like they were not supposed to be in Big Brother’s house, to be honest. I felt like they were just, I don’t know, I cannot just say what they were doing in the house.”
While acknowledging that the twins might deserve a spot on the show generally, she stressed that Season 9 wasn’t the right fit for them.
“I don’t have anything against them but they are just pissing me off. They annoyed me,” she added.
