Former Big Brother Naija Season 9 contestant, Nelly, has revealed that her split from fellow housemate Sooj was influenced by family-related issues.
The duo, who were romantically involved during their time on the show, have now gone their separate ways. During a recent episode of the reunion, Nelly confirmed the breakup and pointed to private family matters as the reason behind it, though she refrained from sharing specific details.
“A lot of things happened [between me and Sooj]. But I can’t tell you because it’s a family matter. It’s a family thing between me and Sooj,” she said.
It’s worth noting that during the show, Sooj expressed doubts about the future of their relationship after Nelly revealed she had undergone a Brazilian butt lift and had a tattoo. Additionally, Sooj’s friend Topper had earlier predicted the relationship wouldn’t last, citing potential clashes with Sooj’s family values.
