Evicted Big Brother Naija ‘No Loose Guard’ housemate, Handi Danbaki, has revealed her willingness to face a legal battle with her fellow contestant, Ben.
As reported by NAIJALOG, Ben had previously threatened to take legal action against Handi and her twin sister, Wanni, after they accused him of sexually assaulting Handi during the show.
In response to Ben’s legal threat, Handi, in a recent interview with Classic 97.3 FM in Lagos, explained that she initially chose to drop the issue because Ben had apologized while they were still on the show. However, she was surprised to hear that he is now threatening legal action.
She said, “I forgot about the issue because after the Saturday night party, he [Ben] came to my ear and said, ‘That’s not who I am, that’s not who I am.’
“He was crying to my ear and I was like, okay, I will drop the case. That’s why I looked past it. But he did do that. And I told him, you did what you did. I really wished Biggie had shown me the video or anything but I’m a woman, I know my body. I know when someone does something to me. I’m not a baby. And I will never come out to say someone did something to me when I’m not sure about it. I’m still standing my ground but I chose to forget about it but if he wants to take it legally he should come, I’m ready for it.”
