Tacha, a former star of Big Brother Naija, has taken to social media to express her thoughts and doubts about some widely accepted life principles.
In a post shared on X, the reality TV personality reflected on what she had been taught about life while growing up.
According to her, she was always told that if a person worked hard, enjoyed life responsibly, and followed the rules, success would eventually come.
However, she said her experiences have made her question that belief, noting that many people who preach about fairness often do not practice it themselves. She also suggested that those who create the rules rarely follow them.
Tacha concluded that being a good person does not necessarily guarantee success in life, but it can at least give someone peace of mind and the ability to sleep without fear.
Her post reads:
‘’All my life I was told: work hard, play fair, follow the rules, and life will reward you.
Then you grow up and realize the rules were written by the winners and they never follow the rules.
The people who preach fairness don’t always play fair.
Being a good person doesn’t guarantee success. It just means you can sleep at night.”
