Former Big Brother Naija winner, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, was reportedly caught in a heated altercation at an Abuja hotel over an alleged ₦200,000 disagreement.
According to witnesses, the confrontation began in the early hours of Tuesday inside Phyna’s hotel room before escalating to the lobby, where it drew the attention of other guests and hotel staff.
Sources revealed that the dispute originated from an unresolved financial issue involving ₦200,000, which quickly turned into a shouting exchange.
The situation reportedly worsened when neither side was willing to compromise, leading to physical pushing and commotion within the hotel.
Eyewitnesses alleged that others connected to the parties involved later joined in, intensifying the chaos and transforming the argument into a physical clash.
Security guards and police officers were eventually called in to de-escalate the situation, with teargas allegedly used to control the crowd.
The incident occurred just weeks after Phyna returned to the spotlight, following a brief hiatus to mourn the loss of her sister, who tragically died in a crash involving a Dangote truck.
