Nigerian comedian Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth, has opened up about leaving a toxic relationship in a recent social media post.
Basketmouth revealed that his former partner misjudged his strength and underestimated his ability to overcome challenges.
He expressed that he endured difficult times but ultimately emerged stronger, choosing to walk away from the toxic environment.
He wrote;
“She really underestimated me and assumed I was weak. Little did she know that with every new day, comes a new strength; A new drive, and an unwavering determination to win.
“She judged me, made a mockery of me. She came at me with everything she had, but eventually, she burnt out.
“At the end of it all, I stood taller and stronger than Lever was. The comeback was so unexpected. But I reclaimed my power,
“Isn’t it amazing how just one second can make someone who seemed so powerful, become nothing but a shadow of a memory?
“As I walked away, I couldn’t help but stop in my glorious strides. I turned back to take one last look at her. With a Bright smile on my face, I raised my right hand towards her and I flipped out the middle finger as I whispered delightfully; ‘F*ck you 2024, I WON..’”
