Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth, a veteran stand-up comedian, has announced the dissolution of his marriage to his wife, Elsie Uzoma Okpocha.
On Thursday, December 22, the media personality announced the news on his official Instagram page.
He revealed that he and his wife had decided to end their 12-year marriage after much deliberation.
Basketmouth added that even though they’d be splitting up, they’d still take care of their kids’ needs together.
The socialite requested that the public respect their privacy during this time.

“As much as it pains me to bring my personal life to the public space, this is an unavoidable situation.
After much deliberations, my wife and i have made the difficult decision to end our marriage.
As we move forward separately, we will continue to work together to give our beautiful children all the care, love, guidance and support they need.
