The Charly Boy Bus Stop in Bariga, Lagos, has officially been renamed Baddo Bus Stop by the Bariga Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in recognition of the legendary Nigerian rapper, Olamide Adedeji, popularly known as Baddo.
This move is part of the LCDA’s broader initiative to celebrate influential figures who have made outstanding contributions to the local community and Nigeria at large through their talent and achievements.
Other renamings include Bariga Road, now Bola Ahmed Tinubu Way, to honour the current president and former governor of Lagos State, and Ilojo Crescent, which has been renamed Bukayo Saka Street, in tribute to the England and Arsenal footballer with Nigerian roots.
