Nollywood actress, Ramota Adeotu, also known as Aunty Ramota, has made an emotional plea for help after facing a string of difficulties with her management.
In a video shared by philanthropist Agiye Amira (Isaamira Food Bank on Instagram), Aunty Ramota tearfully explained that she is now homeless after being asked to leave by a friend who recently got married.
She also revealed that the person helping her build a house suddenly stopped due to personal reasons. To add to her troubles, Aunty Ramota claimed that her management team stole all her money and deleted her social media accounts, including TikTok, which cut off her source of income and exposure.
She expressed frustration, saying despite her hard work, her management took advantage of her financially.
She said, “I’m stranded without a home. The woman I was staying with got married last month and asked me to leave. The person who was helping me build my house has stopped. On top of that, my management took all my money and deleted my social media accounts.
“I’ve worked hard, but they kept cheating me because they thought I wouldn’t notice how much we were earning. Now, I don’t even have enough to rent a place. Someone offered to rent for me, but I would rather finish building my own home, even if it’s just one room, so I can have a place to call mine.”
