Two top Chieftains of the All Progressives Congress held separate close door meeting with former president Olusegun Obasanjo at his Hilltop presidential residence in Abeokuta on Friday.
National leader of the APC, Bola Tinubu was the first to visit Obasanjo.
Tinubu did not speak with newsmen before driving out of Obasanjo’s residence at about 12:30.
Two hours after his departure, Atiku, who had earlier paid a visit to the governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, arrived in a convoy, and drove into the former president’s compound, where a closed -door meeting which lasted for about 45 minutes was held.
He and his host later emerged from the chamber, and went to another wing of the building where they had lunch.
Atiku later told newsmen he had come to discuss developments with his former boss
